Whether you are new to intentional exercise or a lifelong athlete wanting to enhance your skills for a specific goal, I’d love to work with you!

My specialties include: strength training, especially through calisthenics (aka using your own body + gravity for resistance), training for cardiovascular endurance (and no, this does not just mean running!), and improving mobility, especially for injury prevention and lifelong movement.

Movement Therapy for Disordered Exercise and/or Eating Disorder Recovery

Are you looking for trauma-informed movement support? Has there been disruptions to your relationship with exercise and movement that you are ready to heal from? Is your relationship with exercise characterized by one or more of the following:

  • Rigidity - e.g., “I have to workout for X mins.” “I must do Y routine for my workout to count.”

  • Compulsion - e.g., feeling the need to exercise no matter the circumstance, including skipping social engagements and when sick/injured; feeling anxious, guilty, and/or irritable when you cannot exercise.

  • Perfectionism - e.g., all-or-nothing mentality - seeing yourself as a failure because you missed a training session; inability to engage with an activity because your performance is not at a specific standard, often tied to comparisons to others or previous self.

  • Significant impact on your mood - feeling low, depressed, angry, frustrated, anxious, guilty, and/or shame if you cannot exercise.

  • Centered on weight loss or body control

  • Compensatory - e.g., “Because I ate too much, I have to do more exercise.” “I need to workout in order to deserve this food item/meal.”

  • Joyless - exercise feels like a chore that you “should” do.

  • Fear-based -e.g., anxiety or fear tied to injury or other trauma to the body

Using movement / experiential and talk-based therapy, we will collaboratively explore and heal your relationship to sport, exercise, and movement. If you are in eating disorder recovery, I will work with your treatment team (and the activity clearance provided by your physician) to offer you safe and titrated movement experiences.

50-min 1:1 training session from the comfort of your own home - meeting you exactly where you are! You do not need a home gym or significant equipment. We will creatively transform your home into your personal sweat space.

Sessions will take place via Kalix.

All new clients must complete a 50-min initial movement consultation (virtual).

$70/session

Single personal training: $70/session

4-Pack personal training: $260 ($65/session)

50-min 1:1 training session in-person in Seattle, WA.
